The 5 Minuti is a compact modular outdoor oven and the unique size and design allows for 2 pizzas to be cooked in less than 90 seconds. This pretty wood-fired oven is made from stainless steel with powder coated parts that are resistant to high temperatures.

Once in location in your garden, the oven can be heated up to 400°C and ready for cooking your pizzas in less than 15 minutes. All you’ll need is a lighter, 4 sticks of kindling and 4 quarter sections of kiln dried log to start you off. Please see our video guides and recipes to see how easy the oven is to use.

It is housed in a trolley design with a large stainless steel handle on the side and two castors making transportation and location of the oven simple. The cooking surface is made of interchangeable refractory tiles and the stainless steel dome is designed with ceramic fibre insulation so that the oven can reach much higher temperatures than other ovens, while consuming very little wood. The front door is fitted with a solid steel handle and allows air flow into the oven so the flame can be made weaker or the flame can be kindled to brown food for a crisper result. When the door is closed, the flame is weaker and cooking takes place by conduction and convection. The open door kindles the flame to brown food for a crisp result.

Through design we’ve created a heating technology which combines the traditional properties of a brick built oven with a more contemporary efficiency. The casing of the steel structure is specially designed to be resistant to any thermal and mechanical stresses created by the very high temperatures our ovens can reach. The dome is manufactured from thermal stainless steel and is insulated with ceramic fibre so that the hot temperature required for outdoor ovens to be effective is retained. Our ovens can reach much higher temperatures, much more quickly, with less wood and stay hotter for longer than any other pizza oven and can reach controllable temperatures up to 500°C. The cooking surface is made from refractory stone which absorbs and retains heat so that your food is cooked all through with an unbeatable and unique taste.

The face of the oven is also fitted with a pyrometer which indicates the wood-fired oven's combustion chamber temperature. Castors are fitted at the base of the frame to ensure easy movement both for indoors and outdoors. When you’ve finished cooking at high temperatures, you can bake up to 1 kg of bread or even a joint of meat, as the fire dwindles and the oven cools down. The stainless steel front and ledge ensure easy cleaning and convenient shelf space when placing food items in the oven. The ledge is particularly useful to sit baking trays and dishes while adjusting your peel. The lower shelf allows storage of wood which can be neatly stacked and stored.

ROSEMARY PIZZA
4 tsp Butter, 3-4 Vertically Sliced Fennel Bulbs, 3 tbsp Maple Syrup, Fennel Seeds, - To make the topping, heat the oil and butter in a frying pan. Fry the fennel on a medium-high heat until golden, then add the maple syrup, a pinch of salt and the fennel seeds. Toss and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft and caramelised. Remove and set aside.

Vegetarian Parmesan or Firm Goat's Cheese, Baby Spinach Leaves
For the flavoured oil - 1 Bottle Olive Oil, Fresh Rosemary , Garlic Cloves - To make the flavoured oil, place the ingredients in a blender and whizz until the herbs have dissolved. Place in a jar for at least an hour, preferably overnight. Run the oil through a fine strainer into a new bottle and keep refrigerated.

ALSATIAN TARTE FLAMBEE
Bacon Lardons, Onions, - Cook the bacon in a heavy frying pan until almost cooked. Drain, reserving 2 tbsp of fat. Add the onions to the pan and cook until lightly browned, then set aside.

Salt & Black Pepper, Pinch of Ground Nutmeg, Pine nuts, , Finely Diced Onion, Garlic Cloves, Lamb Mince, Ground Cumin, Pinch of Ground Cinnamon - Fry the onion and garlic in olive oil for a minute or two. Tip the mince into the pan, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, then stir in the cumin and cinnamon. Fry the mince until it has released some liquid and this has all evaporated, which usually takes around 10 minutes. Tip the pine nuts into a mixing bowl along with the mince. Taste for seasoning.

Probably the best cooking purchase i have made in a while. Oven is simple to use, transport and maintain. Cooked awesome pizzas in minutes! I made a simple bread machine semolina pizza dough and rolled it out fairly thin. Then grabbed a can of simple market basket pizza sauce with olive oil (just a basic low salt pizza sauce with a few basic spices), added 1 1/2 tablespoons of tomato paste, 1 teaspoon of fennel seed, dash of salt, crushed red pepper, dash of sugar, 1/3 cup of water, tablespoon of sauteed minced garlic and cooked for about 2 minutes and wow! Made a pineapple and chicken pizza which was absolutely fantastic! P.S. - Try to stay near this pizza oven while cooking or dont walk away for too long, the pizzas cook so quickly its amazing. Sausages are b*ggered in seconds.

First time using it I made my own dough from scratch. Made the wife a cheese only and I did up a standard pep & mush. Great results. We were very very happy with the results. A few days later made a strombolli / calzone. Also turned out great. Had it pretty well stuffed and it cooked well. Gets a little charring on the crust. I have not yet tried the 00 flour / neapolitan style pies yet but will in the future. Going to play around with it more, I think other things can also be cooked in there. Very pleased with the oven.

REALLY impressed. Timed it and it got to just above 850 degrees in 15 minutes, well above the 700 degrees the manufacturer's claim. Furthermore, it hit 550 degrees in the first 10 minutes which is really impressive.

We've been making pizzas in the oven for years, but never could get that 'real' pizza effect. Cripy crusts etc.I finally bought the 5 minuti after reading reviews and watching a few videos. WOW! What a difference. The product came nicely packaged and even assembled. One thing I particularly appreciate is that the stone in the oven does not get scorched. It took only one trial run to get great results, but each time using it gets easier and the results better.

It's not just for pizza. I've cooked whole chicken and a loin of pork with stuffing. All you need is to wrap all of the food in foil and get your timing right.

Have used my pizza oven numerous times and have been very happy with the results.The pizza oven heats up in about 10 minutes and you are good to go. I usually put the dough in for a few minutes to precook it a little. This makes it easier for the kids to add their favourite toppings. A pizza peel is a must though, not sure how you would get the pizzas in and out without one. I have it close to the house over the winter so I can enjoy them year round.

Got this item for my husband for Christmas. He was very pleased with this & has made some excellent pizzas in this oven. He is able to make pizzas in the summer on the back patio without heating up the house with the oven.
