African Thatch 4 GazeboIt should be a 2 person job to put up but I managed alone so can be done by one person if experienced enough just takes a bit longer. Great result and well worth it.

African Thatch 4 GazeboArrived as promised and the delivery men helped me upload it into the back garden. With the help of 2 clamps and another pair of hands at times, I was able to assemble it on my own. The instructions were easy to follow if you stick to them and if you stick to them. All nuts bolts and screws were supplied with some spare, you just need a power screwdriver. Goes without saying we love it thanks to my handywork?

African Thatch 4 GazeboOurs has given the garden dimension and a real focal point and it very majestic on the top of the top tier. I put it up by myself, but it wasn't easy, so I'd recommend asking a friend ? not the wife!! The roof is the hardest bit and it's a good idea to put it all together before you lift it on to the posts.

African Thatch 4 GazeboIf you follow the instructions and have the right tools as directed nj the manual, it is straightforward to do. Everything we needed to put it to together was there. You will need to a decent screwdriver for the screws but they give you the hex fitting. The wood is pressure treated, the thatch is coated and once together it looked exactly as we expected.

African Thatch 4 GazeboGreat advice and well organised delivery. I like the chunky 10mm screws holding it all together I had never seen screws/bolts like them. The roof is galvanised so I?m confident it won?t rust and the clever roof sections are held together with a nuts and bolts which are also galvanised.

African Thatch 4 GazeboThe main problem was the lack of detailed instructions and the assumption it is a DIY job for a handyman. I needed a pneumatic screwdriver, info on the sort of base I required and detailed measurements of the base I neeeded. I had to work contact the company several times and although they were very accommodating (even after I?d bought it) this gazebo needs putting up by an experienced contractor. The final product is what I wanted I just wished it had been easier.
