It is especially import and to keep the pH level correct. Having the pH too high or too low can corrode parts of the spa, irrritate the skin and eyes, and could make the Chlorine / Bromine less effective.
pH levels are altered by general use of the spa, perspiration, drinks spilt, rain etc.
If the pH is too low, use SpaMate pH Increaser until the test strip reads in the 'ok' zone of your insta-TEST strip.
Always check the Alkalinity level first as the Alkalinity will help to stabalise the pH.
