Jefferson 5.3m X 4.1m 44mm Log Cabin
Stylishly constructed from thick 44mm Nordic Spruce, the interlocking logs and wind braces provide a strong and robust design, with authentic chalet style straight cut log ends, reflecting the high-quality build, design and materials used. The durable floor is constructed from 19mm tongue and groove cladding, well-known for its strength and weather resistance, supported by treated foundation joists providing a long-lasting and hardwearing surface for this popular outdoor space. The reverse apex roof is built from 19mm tongue and groove cladding, which makes a strong and reliable canopy for the structure. Benefitting from double glazing, the full length, double entrance doors, fitted with a cylinder lock fitted, lead into the bright and welcoming space inside. For increased strength and improved resistance to adverse reactions to extreme temperatures, such as warping or cracking, the door frames are laminated in construction. The low door sill features a stainless-steel cover to protect wood from damage in this high wear area. Light and ventilation is provided by two further double glazed opening windows. Booked a week off work to build it and whilst I ached in a different place every night it was so satisfying to be able to say I built something! I found that the timber quality was excellent and as a result very easy to put together ? although you?ll need a rubber mallet. I used the spare logs as whackers. Delivery was within 2 weeks of ordering. Super all around benefits and value for money.

JeffersonI've fitted many of the cabins or this company before i retired and have 2 of my own.My favourite in the pizza hut cabin and it's where you'll find me at weekends.My advice if you're fitting the cabin yourself is to unpack the whole pallet before you start and lay all of the same size pieces together.Then once unpacked familiar yourself with the pieces as you read the instructions.Do this first and you'll save yourself many hours of frustration.

JeffersonExcellent product, excellent service and highly recommended by me. The cabin was delivered on the day by a large lorry with a forklift which carried the cabin to my drive. All the logs are precisely machined and it went together without few problems over the weekend. Family and friends are impressed with my choice and everyone notices how grand it looks.

JeffersonWe chose a 44mm thick log cabin because we wanted the best and didn't want to take chances. My advice is that it's overkill unless you are using it in the winter or need to secure the contents. They are so well made and interlock together so well you could save yourself ????s and buy a log cabin with thinner logs for less money if it's not for winter use or you're not using it for storage of valuable. Unless of course it's a hot tub going in it and then you've no choice as the steam will warp the logs if they are not 44mm thick.

JeffersonIt was daunting to know I had to build a cabin which is something I had't done before. In fact I hadn't built anything for ages. However, I need not have worried. It was easy. The instructions were simple and everything went together like the Lego blocks i play with when my grandson is visiting. the whole project was very rewarding and made me feel very worthwhile. i had to ask my son in law to do the shingle roof as not am only am i afraid of heights i am 72 years old. It was a pleasure to help your company with this report and thank you for all of your assistance too.

JeffersonThe cabin pieces on the pallet aren't packed as you would use the items, although they explained afterwards thta everything is packed to prevent damage. This enas that you have to unpack everything first. One gable end arrived with a split in it and was out of gauge due to this. This was easy enough to report it and it was rectified quickly and for free.

JeffersonI love it. The summer house is worth every penny to get that extra working area which I can keep as my own. Excellent service everything we needed was provided, any queries we had were answered promptly. The fitter were very polite and tidy.
